Picnic is a brand of DeFiBasket Labs Inc., a company incorporated in the British Virgin Islands, which licenses non-custodial software that enables users to interact directly with public blockchain networks and access services from independent third parties. Picnic is not a financial institution, broker, exchange, or virtual asset service provider (VASP); it is not a counterparty to users' transactions, does not maintain an internal order book, and does not intermediate transactions on behalf of third parties.
The wallet is self-custodial: the keys remain under the user's exclusive control, and Picnic has no technical ability to move, freeze, or reverse the assets held in it. Transactions involving decentralized protocols are initiated and signed by the user, directly with third-party smart contracts, and are irreversible.
The purchase and sale of Brazilian reais for virtual assets is provided in Brazil by Avenia Sociedade Prestadora de Serviços de Ativos Virtuais Ltda., subject to Law No. 14,478/2022 and the regulations of the Central Bank of Brazil. The card and the US dollar and euro accounts are offered by partners regulated in their respective jurisdictions, under each partner's own terms.
Virtual assets are not legal tender in Brazil and are not guaranteed by the Credit Guarantee Fund (FGC). Their prices can fluctuate significantly. Displayed yields are variable estimates, may be zero or negative, and are not guaranteed. Nothing on this page constitutes an offer or investment recommendation.
Users are responsible for verifying whether use of the platform is permitted in their jurisdiction. The full terms are set out in the Terms of Use.
