Picnic is a global, on-chain, self-custodial account. In one app, you can manage reais, dollars, euros, and crypto, invest, make transfers, and use your money with the global card — while keeping your on-chain balance under your control.

You add money with Pix, ACH, SEPA, or crypto and track your balances in a multi-currency account. You can then convert assets, invest, send money, or transfer funds to the card's dedicated balance. Only you authorize movements from your on-chain balance.

There is no monthly fee to open or maintain a Picnic Account. The Picnic card has no annual fee, and creating virtual cards is also free.

For conversions, transfers, and other operations, any fee charged by Picnic is shown in the app before confirmation. From September 15 to 22, these fees are waived on eligible operations for new and existing customers. The benefit is automatic, with no coupon or activation required. External costs may still apply.

After that, you can make contactless payments by holding your iPhone, Apple Watch, Android phone, or Wear OS smartwatch near any payment terminal that supports tap-to-pay.

This works both domestically and internationally, at any merchant that accepts Visa contactless. Using Apple Pay or Google Pay with your Picnic card gives you an extra layer of security because your actual card number is never shared with the merchant — instead, a unique device token is used for each transaction.

To receive dollars, complete the US Account activation in the app. Once approved, you will have US banking details, including an account number and routing number, to receive ACH and wire transfers. Wire transfers typically take one to two business days, while ACH transfers may take two to three business days.

To receive euros, activate your European Account. You will receive a personal IBAN to accept SEPA transfers from eligible accounts. The funds usually reach your euro balance in the Picnic Account within one business day.

Once received, you can hold, convert, or send the balance, as well as transfer funds to the card's dedicated balance. Activation requires identity verification, and timing, limits, and availability depend on the responsible partners.
