> **📊 Exact fees (ACH, Wire):** see the [Complete Picnic fee table](https://help.usepicnic.com/hc/picnic/articles/complete-picnic-fee-table), _US Dollars (USD)_ section. This article covers the **review thresholds** and **ownership rules**.

### Amounts without extra review

USD deposits are processed by our partner **Noah**. Up to the amounts below, your deposit goes through normally, with no documents requested:

- **Accounts in your name or a family member's:** up to **US$ 10,000** per transaction.
- **Third-party accounts:** up to **US$ 5,000** per transaction (see the third-party rules below).
- **Monthly total:** up to **US$ 20,000**, adding up all deposits.

### What if I want to deposit more?

You can. **These amounts are not a cap.** Above them, the deposit goes through a security review:

1. The deposit is **held for review** and does not show in your balance yet.
2. Noah's compliance team contacts you and asks for **proof of source of funds** (for example: bank statement, payslip, sale agreement or tax return).
3. Once the documents are approved, the amount is released to your Picnic balance.

**Important:** if the documents are not sent within **10 days**, the deposit is rejected and returned to the sending account.

**Tip:** if you are planning a large deposit, get the proof ready before you transfer. It speeds up the release.

### Who can send me dollars?

- **Accounts in your name** at other US banks or global platforms (Wise, Revolut, etc.).
- **Family members.**
- **Third parties (individuals):**
    - If you **live outside the US**: accepted, up to US$ 5,000 per transaction without extra review.
    - If you **live in the US**: third parties are only accepted if they are **registered businesses** sending from a US business account.
- **Businesses (legal entities):** yes, you can receive payments from companies directly into your balance.

International transfers (Wire from outside the US, SWIFT) are not accepted.
